Longing

This painting is very textured. The white bits of the ocean are about 1cm off the surface and you really get the feeling of the froth and foam rushing and bubbling. It is a dramatic painting and the colouring will go in most settings. You can see the chopping and cutting movement of the tools used to apply the wax, particularly in the sky and this adds to the drama and energy of the piece. this painting would make a great centre piece in any setting.

This painting is unframed. It is on deep edged 4cm canvas. The sides are painted white. It has been sealed with a protective layer of wax medium. The painting comes ready to hang with D-rings and hanging string attached. These paintings look great in a floating frame with a gap between the edges and the canvas. I would be happy to arrange for it to be framed for you or I would be happy to offer you some advice about framing. Please contact me and I'd be happy to help.
