Atmospheric abstract  textured seascape painting. 

This moody work is inspired by those craggy winter days when the air is cold and the sun briefly breaks through heavy grey cloud. The sun breaks through the clouds in one place and the light streams down onto the sea, creating an air of transcendence. A certain spirituality. A belief that through the power of nature everything will be as it is.

Rich texture and subtle contrasts capture the rawness of winter alongside its quiet beauty, offering a sense of warmth and hope within the cooler tones, which contrast to the reds, coppers and golds. It’s a painting that brings depth, atmosphere and a gentle reminder of light returning — even on the darkest days. 

The painting is very textured.
