Atmospheric abstract  textured seascape painting. 

One early winter's morning the clouds were absolutely yellow. There was an ochre band hanging over Brighton on the west, and to the East the light was fresh with hope. Although that vision was the starting point for this painting, the yellow and red layers in the sky reminded me of California and I began to dream of warmer times in other landscapes and other worlds.

The painting has a fresh, light and raw quality to it. You can feel the waves come in, inviting you to dream of other times and other places. 

The painting is very textured.
