Large atmospheric, highly textured, glowing seascape oil and cold wax painting.

This painting is inspired by one of my favourite places on the East Sussex Coast. The light here is magic. Sometimes you can see the sun on the East side and huge storm clouds moving in dramatically from the West. The rocks at low tide have a prehistoric quality to them. They are made from chalk, some are covered with seaweed and some are exposed chalk. I wanted to capture the light and the magic of this place. This painting is highly textured and really gives the viewer the feeling of being in that place. It would make a great focal point in any room.

The painting is finished with a layer of polished wax that can be wiped with a soft cloth to remove any dust over time.

The painting is framed in a solid wood floating frame in white. There is a 1cm gap between the painting and the frame, which gives it a floating effect
